  • Super cute general store, very friendly people working there, great value on food, and very pleasant all around. Perfect for a bite to eat from breakfast till dinner and has essentials as well!

  • Seven Napkin Burger is awesome!!! You DO need seven napkins! They also have gluten free buns for all their sandwiches!! Great gift shop and great coffee too.

  • I saw that they were known for their hamburgers so we went to check it out. The burger was indeed terrific! It’s a quaint little general store with a handful of picnic tables outside where you can eat. It has a very limited menu, no fries, and you can’t purchase alcohol and take it outside along with your food. However, if you want a good burger and don’t care about being waited on then try it out! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing as we ate. Got some chips and a coke to go with the burger and it was a wonderful meal and great experience! They also had some homemade fudge which was equally delicious. I would definitely go back.

  • Everything about this spot was on point. The seven napkin burger was perfect and one of my favorite if not the best I’ve had in Maine. The molasses cookie was sooo good! Highly recommend!

  • We visited the Store on July 4th weekend and absolutely loved our experience. There was so much to look at! All the things you might need on vacation and more besides. Love old general stores and I search for them whenever we travel. The very kind Lydia took our order. She was very friendly and chatted with us as we waited for our food. My husband and I had to order the famous 7 Napkin Burger. There are tables outside to eat at in the warmer weather. The burger was as delicious as we had hoped it would be - and messy! (In the best way possible.) Great flavor and a must if you are stopping by the store. There is also a full menu of other options and I am sure all of the other items are just as great. Highly recommend stopping by.

  • Charming little place with fantastic breakfast in the most authentic peaceful environment surrounded by a lovely garden where local neighbors come by bike for good coffee. The store has every knick knack you might need, food, homegoods and even books.

  • Had to try the Seven Napkin Burger. Yummy! They even had a gluten free bun! Certainly lives by the name, thick patty with lots of goodies on the burger. We ate outside with plenty of seating via picnic tables, wishing there was a sink to wash the stickiness off.

  • Got the 7 napkin burger, but I'm a slob and needed 11 napkins. Great folks, good food, and a nice little shop. Well worth the stop.
